In today's rapidly changing economic environment the ability to adapt products and services quickly and proactively,

requires having a Team with a diversity of thinking and problem-solving styles.

If you've looked at job postings lately two skills that you will see on most job descriptions are complex/creative problem-solving and critical thinking. Two skills that will grow in prominence in the next five years cited by the World Economic Forum.

Understanding one's work style and skills and that of one's co-workers is also proving to be mission critical in the mine field of remote and hybrid work environments. Building teams that are collaborative and work well and better together impacts individual and team productivity and an organisation's growth trajectory.

There are many articles and endless conversations around building a collaborative and safe working environment. Headlines include the words 'simple; five, six, 10 ways and strategies' to create a collaborative culture, more collaborative teams and so on. The articles outline things leaders need to do. For example, provide better communication, establish team goals, foster cohesion between team members etc.

Here’s the thing. There is very little focus on helping individuals understand their own work and thinking style and that of their Teammates. For some reason leaders seem to forget, overlook, or simply dismiss the 'human factor' need in this case. It's assumed there is a switch that is flicked in to the on position and Bob's your uncle. Ahh...not!

We’re offering a learning and development experience - What Is My Work And Thinking Style Unlearning Lab where the human factor need is at the centre.
